Default FM 2008 pc recommendation (intel or amd)

I'm thinking of getting a new PC for FM2008.

Does the Intel E6300 and 3gig DDR2 667mhz rams run well or AMD4800+ with the same rams? Any other recommendation as FM is just a game that requires lots of processing. I would like to play a minimum of 6 leagues and huge database with less processing time.

Kindly advice me. I am not able to support the latest core2duo processor like the 6550 or 6750 and even AMD 5600+ i suppose.
