Well Alfie said on Jonathen Ross they left it open for him to come back.

He mentioed that Kat and Dennis left

But he said Nana Moon died in his arms so it might be her

as i've said, Nana dies at Chistmas, but that was revealed ages ago. So there might be another death.

I knew about Nana Moon dying, got the impression from the article that this was a separate death, and a much more significant character. Could have all been tabloid sensationalism and hyperbole of course but the implication was that this would shock fans, and I don't think anyone would really be shocked by Nana passing away.

Would make sense, he's definitely going and I'm sure I read an interview with Billy Murray where he was a bit peeved at being killed off. He wasn't listed as one of the five potential candidates in the paper but it was probably speculation on their part.

Although thinking about it further, they had a picture of characters around the grave at the funeral, and I'd see no reason for the likes of Sharon, Ian, Pauline, Stacey (without Ruby), Dot, Jim and so on to be at Johnny Allen's funeral. Although Peggy looked angry :/

Intriguing/

Yes, it could be. Read that he was unhappy how is character has developed (which I agree with, totally ruined him), but his exit is going to be exciting.

Dot and Jim would be there. Johnny is friends with them.

I'd say 'friends' is pushing it a bit, they're hardly round each other's places for dinner on a regular basis. But yeah, they'd probably be at his funeral. Still plenty there who I wouldn't expect to be though.

Well thats what Murray himself says. He said something along the lines of "I dont think my character should be friends with Dot and jim".
