Well, maybe you have a point, maybe I will listen to Guttermouth! I've never really paid any attention to them before...

Who were the band who did the song A.D.D. on an old Punk O Rama? Was 3 or 5 iirc. Love that song

at poolies:
Oh yeah, that was my other point: You got over your NOFX obsession then? Remember going on your last.fm a while ago and it was basically just NOFX.

Nope. NOFX will always be my favourite band. I just don't listen to music much on my PC any more.

Not sure about the song A.D.D. though, just looked on my Punk-o-Rama CDs and couldn't spot it. Sure that's the name of the song?

About time!

Most of the bands I was going to mention have already been mentioned so i'll just echo what everyone else has said.

Against Me! are my favourite band of all time. Everyone needs to hear the album 'Reinventing Axl Rose, just total brilliance. They have a new album out soon, (has just been delayed until the summer ) I hope it is as good as previous albums. Although I fear it will go the way of their previous album and lose everything that was great about them.

Set Your Goals are my current favourite band, they have released a perfect e.p and a perfect album. Not too long, not too short, and every song is utterly great. They said they will not be releasing a new album for a while, which is bad news for me. However I don't know if they can top what they have already done, so am happy with an e.p and an album.

Propagandhi are a band that are not mentioned enough. their earlier albums (how to clean everything and Less Talk, More Rock) are immensely good although I'm not too keen on their later stuff.

Dillinger Four are another band I want to mention. they are on fat but have a unique style, definitely worth checking out.

That's all for now, more when I finish school!

Plenty of good bands already in here, but I'll throw my hat in with a few I'm currently loving.

Six.Point.Five Going to see this lot on Saturday. They are very good and one for the future hopefully, super ska punk tunes and are very enjoyable live.

King Prawn and Capdown are two already mentioned but are two kings of the genre. So aggrieved I only ever saw KP once especially as since I've come to appreciate their earlier stuff far more. Capdown are just awesome, I was largely sceptical about wind up toys but having heard the songs live they are better and the album has grown on me, still not up to Civil Disobedients standard.

In fact last years Reading line-up on the saturday was great, Sonic Boom Six, Captain Everything!, Capdown, Adequate Seven almost one after the other.

Once supporting "Gay For Johnny Depp" last year. Amazing band btw. And once a few weeks back supporting the mighty "Reuben".
I need to listen to Reuben, one of Biffy Clyro's top neighbours on last.fm and I've just got into Biffy...Is it likely I'll like them if I like Biffy?
Any other bands you'd recommend in a vague Biffy Clyro/Frank Turner/Mars Volta direction? (Basically stuff that isn't punk/ska/hardcore) </BLOCKQUOTE>

Oceansize, Sucioperro and Aereogramme may be what you're after. The first two especially.
