Just stumbled across this thread and there are a couple of bands I'm really suprised havn't been mentioned. Firstly Mano Negra.

Secondly Sublime who I feel where probably one of the most talented punk bands ever, they could play so many different kinds of music and make them all sound great.

Just came across some old cds earlier, for anyone liking Sublime check out Slightly Stoopid, very similar I think their on his (Bradley Nowell's?) label and I think he even sings in some of thier songs.

Secondly, for anyone who's really into punk this podcast which I found is superb, dunno who does it but thier updated quite frequently, well worth a listen.
