I'm still searching for a band (AM!/Set Your Goals) that will genuinely excite me and make me consistently happy whenever I listen to their music.
I would consider giving No Trigger a listen, their album is just below Mutiny! for me but it's a great album and it's happy punk music

Yeah the No Trigger songs on their myspace are very impressive. They seem like a slightly heavier Set Your Goals.

Can't believe I missed Set Your Goals this august :***(

You heard This Is A Standoff? For that matter have you listened to much Belvedere? I've not really been listening to that much new stuff...Next few weeks I'm gonna have more free cash than I have done in ages so I see cd buying sprees.

Listened to a band on Myspace today called The Wonder Years. Doing the SYG type thing. Preview of all of the songs on their new album on their player...Definitely seem worth listening to.

saw them supported by No Trigger

should probably come back next year sometime though, I think No Trigger said something about early next year for them anyway, SYG will come back as they made a video diary about their UK tour and seemed to enjoy themselves

No I haven't listened to much Belvedere at all. Last.fm song seems decent though. That's another one to check out.

After the success of SYG it seems like that style is the new 'in' thing, not that I mind at all as I really love that style. Can't get enough of dual vocals.

Similar thing with Against Me! and Fake Problems,TBIAPB, Defiance, Ohio and others.

pretty sure they're having a break to record a new album now so I'd imagine they'll tour when that is out.

and yeah it does seem to be the new sound these days, got myself a Halloween special SYG t-shirt the other day
