Like the Angel for me comparing song to song, but on their respective albums Paper Wings is definitely in the top 2 songs, whereas Like the Angel has more competition for "best song on the album" title.

Random question, which Rise Against song is better 'Like the Angel' or 'Paper Wings'? They both serve the same purpose on both albums, are in similar places and are similar songs. Can't decide between them.
both are good songs, but Like The Angel is on Revolutions Per Minute and that album is simply amazing - so it wins

Yeah last.fm is awesome for finding out new bands. Anyone else have one on here? I have punkskamonkeys and have nabbed some recommendations off his page, getting stuff from other people would be cool too. Love tohave a nose at what other people are listening to.

Also has a good gig tracker thing which I imagine would be useful if you lived in a city or had friends who liked similar music. </BLOCKQUOTE>

I'll have a go at on the weekend and post a link here. I'm off now. Cheers all.

Like I may have mentioned earlier, I formulated these opinions when I was young and unwilling to give music time to grow on me, may well bet he case that I would enjoy it now.

Home from Home their second best album I reckon, much better than Kingwood anyway which is their latest release.

Both Rise Against albums are equally cool imo, couldn't decide between them. USed to be SS by miles though. Hopefully I will also get into the Unravelling.

Lover their acoustic version of everchanging.

That leads me onto a new question, got any bands that do decent acoustic songs/versions of their songs.

Against Me! are the obvious choice, their 'acoustic ep' is immense. SYG murdered 'Echoes' on the punk goes acoustic compilation.

Fancy emailing me that SYG song prong? Haven't heard it...Email in profile and all that.

Acoustic songs, hmmm. Theres an acoustic version of Chalkline by Strike Anywhere about but it's not very good tbh. Listen to the original if you don't know it though, one of my favourite songs of theirs. Can't think of any more really...

Do you have msn? Could be easier using that?

That reminds me, love the Striker Anywhere acoustic version of - extinguish, one of my favourite acoustic songs ever.

Randoms on MSN are scary, they might like start a conversation or something! Even worse they might say hello or similar and after that you're kind of stuck for where to go...(I do have MSN though, add me if ya like )

Just found out A Wilhelm Scream have a new album recorded, trying to release it in August apparantly. AWS are awesome, one of the few bands around that actually make me excited about their new stuff. They say it's fast, and very fast, which sounds good to me Have even left off two slower songs because they don't fit \o/
