I still hate Gallows. Nothing about them appeals to me.

Leftover Crack  I haven't listened to the split EP as much as their albums though. You listened to Choking Victim? Most of the same band from before LoC...

Also - do you have last.fm Colorado?

Gallows are alright, overhyped of course but for me still a pretty decent band.

Heh, I have listened to all the bands you have just named. The Vandals are fun for a few song but I don't feel they have enough to keep me listening. Millencolin have done some great songs 'Blackeye' but I hated a lot of their songs. Was never too keen on Pennywise and found Pulley a bit hit and miss.

That being said, this was a few years ago so I may have to give all these bands another chance.

Pennybridge Pioneers is Millencolins best album imo. I've never been too fussed on Pennywise or Pulley either apart from their main songs on Punk O Rama etc. It's worth getting the early Punk O Rama's 3 and 4 I cant recommend enough!

Agree with most of that really, except I used to really like Pennywise and Millencolin when I first got into punk. Millecollin I don't listen to anymore because a whole album is vaguely annoying/whiny, and Pennywise I just started to find really samey...Both bands still good on occasion but rarely listen now.

My last.fm page It's ace, records the music you listen to on your pc basically...

Yeah I own Punk o Rama 2,3 and 6. 6 was my favourite version, has an awesome Pulley song - 'Runaway' which made me fall in love with the band, but their album was nowhere near as good.

Also featured Millencolin - 'Blackeye' which made me go out and buy 'Home from Home' which was an awful album, and I think they changed Blackeye into a version taht didn't sound as good

Random question, which Rise Against song is better 'Like the Angel' or 'Paper Wings'? They both serve the same purpose on both albums, are in similar places and are similar songs. Can't decide between them.

Yeah last.fm is awesome for finding out new bands. Anyone else have one on here? I have punkskamonkeys and have nabbed some recommendations off his page, getting stuff from other people would be cool too. Love tohave a nose at what other people are listening to.

Also has a good gig tracker thing which I imagine would be useful if you lived in a city or had friends who liked similar music.
