Great fun.
It's not bad, but both of LoC's full albums and also Choking Victim are better IMO.

Have started listening to No Trigger again, them and SYG should be awesome. Think I'll go to the Manchester show too because The Steal and Chief are supporting there, will be worth the trip I'm sure. I Need to see The Steal...

I had noticed you were going, would be the pinnacle of my short life

Stoke is still the nearest one to me even with the full dates announced. Really want to see them, but it is totally dependant on driving. Have no friends who like this sort of music :/

Haven't listened to much new punk lately, eagerly anticipating the new Against Me! Have also been listening to 'First to Leave' who are quite good. Quite poppy though.

I have a new recommendation, The Gaslight Anthem - Sink or Swim, pretty new album, think it may be streaming on punknews.org. Really like them, sort of punk/hardcore type thing. Very promising for a debut album.

Still hoping to go and see SYG, recently got hold of their demo for Mutiny, must say I prefer the versions of songs on their than what they were on the album itself.

Oh and I almost forgot, New Against Me! due early July. Don't know if they still belong in a punk thread but there tour 7" was amazing. Really love White People for Peace, hope the album will continue on with that awesomeness.

I was gonna up this today, wp prong \o/

Anyone going to see Captain Everything!?

dates:
3 Jun 2007 The Peel - KINGSTON
4 Jun 2007 The Charlotte - LEICESTER
5 Jun 2007 The Underworld - LONDON
6 Jun 2007 The Chillingham Arms - NEWCASTLE
7 Jun 2007 The Vic Inn - DERBY
8 Jun 2007 The Furnace - SWINDON
9 Jun 2007 The Croft - BRISTOL

They're going on a hiatus after this apparantly, not splitting up just not playing any gigs for ages, so it makes me want to go. Don't know anyone in any of these cities though and may even struggle for anyone to go with Will try and get to Leicester or Derby though I reckon.

Never listened to them, for some reason I presumed they were Ska-Punk (which I pretty much dislike now.) From their last.fm description it looks like i may have to check them out.

You better check out Gaslight Anthem, I personally recommended them to you on Last.FM

Can't wait for this, I've loved everything they've done so far whatever the style so I know I'm going to love the new album.
