ala the Gazette my stars today would have been:

Young 3* simply for the goal and celebration

O'Neill 2* for being pretty average tbh - doing what he normally does

Riggott 1* - decent game - may have been at fault for the goal but I'll have to see it again.

honoruary mention to Rocky.

the team spirit looks immense as usual, all the players ran towards Young - which btw was probably one of my most celebrated goals at the Riverside (maybe cos I had loads of space next to me cos of empty seats) - which is even more of a shame that we aren't getting behind them.

Not really, no. I think his energy was always a major part of his game and he used the last of that in his first six months with us.

I suppose he was half decent in his first season but his legs had gone by the time he'd left.
