Wasnt really tested today, wouldnt have got to the show at his left hand post in the second half, and didnt look too condifident in the air. But saved the shots that went down his throat and held onto them. Needs to have a wee look at his kicking at the minute, too many are not going where he wants them to do.

Solid in the tackle, very good technically but come on son get down that wing a little bit more, dont have to wait till its 2-0 up and cruising before you break those shackles.

What a ball for both goals. Got up and down the left flank like the days of French Franck. Didnt try and fight any 9' black monsters this week so thats an added bonus.

Were the brum defenders really that poor that the lad had time to write a novel whilst playing. Looks unfazed by anything and STILL has never been seen to break into a sprint.

Gary Pallister anyone? Superb, just cross it in and this lad will get his head on it, took his goal superby well, anyone else notice since the seasons start he has gone from 40-1, to 28-1, 22-1 and now 20-1.
He lacks pace yes, but his positional sense (or woodgates noise making him move) is superb. Got hammered by Jerome on the turn and did what any understanding tough slow DC would do....fouled him...good lad. Robert who? German who? do we need him?

Quiet day for the local lad, should have slammed the ball into the net late on instead of playing the harder ball to Tuncay. Worked hard, slid in and made a lot of blocks and totally made their right back look like a championship quality player...oh wait he IS a championship quality player isnt he?

Only this he didnt do today was score, so that means next week they will be booing him if things go to plan.

Mido was here, there, everywhere. Except in the box scoring goals. Puts himself about for a big lad, loved being shouted at by the brummies (how is it that in his two homes games he has understood the languages of Geordie and Brummie when its took many people years and years to understand the basics?) and so glad he turned down their championship side for our average permier one!
