I've always backed the Yak up, including all summer. But his two performances so far this season, especially the one at Wigan, we're beyond just bad form. Simply he didn't give a crap.
If, and it's a bid IF, we can get Alves then I'd be over the moon.

and that's totally what I've been like about yak. gave him the benefit of the doubt v blackburn but wigan was a shocker. get rid. he's been a good player for us but never quite fulfilled his potential. is that gareth's fault?
i've never seen alves play bar the england match but I imagine he'd be a step up.
