Seems the Mido rumours maybe true. If we don't get an answer from Smith this week we are looking at Mido instead. |

Mido rumour is true, im not happy.
HE was disruptive at Ajax, Roma, Marseille, spurts and for his national team.
Whats he going to be like here? an angel?

so, Morrison gone to WBA, shame really, but I guess he was never going to become a regular. Interesting that he has gone from UEFA cup final starter to Championship player in just over a year.
Our defence is totally buggered by the sounds of it, might as well go for broke on Saturday.
I'm more optimistic than most this season and if we make a good start (relatively easy games to begin with), I reckon we can finish in the top 8.
Wouldn't be gutted with a draw on Sat, but obv hoping for a win.

Wheater and Davies looked very poor on sat gone and flapper didnt inspire them, a few times he either didnt call or the defenders expected him to come and nothing happened.
Looking at who we are playing thats a key position, benni and roberts/cruz will batter us if its not sorted and fast or they both play out of their skin.

Well, that was a bastard.
Thought they started better, but we ended up dominating the 1st half. great free kick from downing but it was obvious he'd go for that side and friedel was totally out of position.
second half was easy until mccarthy went off, then we just lost it. almost snatched it at the end through wheater, but we didn't show enough after their 2nd til injury time.
Overall thought we were a bit unlucky but we need to at least avoid defeat on Wed now.
Wheater played well. Arca and Boateng did ok, and Aliadiere and Downing looked pretty lively.
Yak was disappointing tbh. Tuncay looked out of place on the wing. Riggott was nothing special and I can't wait to see Young on the right flank instead of Davies.
Schwarz had nothing to do really bar the goals.
I'm pretty gutted and i'm normally only like that if I know we should have got more than we did.

Downing was absent in the second half of the game, i expect better from him.
I dont want the tackles i dont want the chasing all over the park, i want him to beat his man, and in the second half he didnt do it, first half he had oijer (sp) on the ropes second half he should have killed him off but didnt.
Riggott was injured, it showed 100% effort but the lads legs had gone by the time Cruz beat him in the air.
Rumour has it pompy lead the race for yak, if he aint intrested sell him.
We caved in during the second half, we needed a second goal to kill it off but one just wasnt enough.

yeah, Yak was disappointing.
And downing was poor second half, but as you say it was more obvious cos he had been pretty good first half.
plenty of hope/potential but we need to not have a disastrous start.[
