I really doubt this story is true. Unlike Júlio Baptista, for example, Kaká was regarded as a promising player back then. Everyone knew he would move from São Paulo to some Euro giant.

| Juninho was a more finished player when he moved, but he was not regarded the same way Kaká was (that is, as a very promising player). He was a promising player among many promising players while Kaká was one of the most promising players of his generation.

But he is always injured, so I think signing him wouldn't be a smart move.
