we had the game on live in my club, and the dissalowed Vuduka goal wasnt offside, the rules say daylight must be seen between the forward and the defender (so the TV says) and clearly he was just edging ahead but no dalight, he was his bellys width ahead.
Saying that, no sour grapes, Reading were the better side and could have mullered us 4-5 to 2.
Typical Boro switch off and allow 2 gingers too much space for two goals.
Bugger!

Was watching It in Scruffy Murphy's in town on the dodgy Arabic channels - went outside to make a call after 40 mins at 2-0, came back in and it was 2-2 ffs. Went mad when Viduka equalised only for the cheating ****ers to disallow it.
Was absolutely gutted Saturday night, we have just thrown away three easy points. And Chelsea to come.

At the Riverside Stadium, Wednesday 24th August 2006, Kick-off: 8.00pm
Know the form: Boro
Boro must quickly shake off the shock of opening day defeat to promoted Reading.
Gareth Southgate looked set for a dream managerial debut but was instead left to conduct a post-match inquest rather than celebration after his side threw away what looked like a certain three points.
In fact, Boro have to go back to April 17 for their last victory, when they beat West Ham 2-0 at the Riverside.
Just two draws - at Bolton and Manchester United - have followed in the interim.
The plus point is that Stewart Downing and Yakubu stuck away their chances well on Saturday. And Chelsea will not relish facing the Nigerian again after he ran them ragged in last season's comprehensive defeat at the Riverside.
Know the form: Chelsea
Chelsea laid down an ominous marker to their Premiership rivals on opening day as the defending champions breezed to a 3-0 home win against Manchester City.
And with the goals spread between John Terry, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba, they proved once again that they will be a threat from all over the pitch.
It was a vast improvement on Chelsea's poor display in the Community Shield, where manager Jose Mourinho blamed lack of fitness for the defeat by Liverpool.
Big money summer buys Andriy Shevchencko and Michael Ballack have added more world class quality to an already talent-stacked squad and they will make a massive impact once they settle in.
Player profile: Boro
New signing Julio Arca is ruled out of the clash against the defending champions after breaking his right foot on his competitive Boro debut at Reading.
That means Emanuel Pogatetz could move from central defence to left-back in place of the Argentinian.
Young stopper Matthew Bates may slot in alongside Chris Riggott in the heart of the Boro back line, provided he has shaken off the groin strain he suffered in Boro's final pre-season game against Chievo.
Teenage midfielder Lee Cattermole is back in training after an ankle injury, though veteran centre-back Ugo Ehiogu is still sidelined with the Achilles problem that has ruled him out for the foreseeable future.
Player profile: Chelsea
Chelsea have added to their ranks this week by completing the £6m signing of Hamburg defender Khalid Boulahrouz for a reported fee of £6m.
The 24-year-old is known for his versatility and can comfortably play anywhere across the back four.
The Dutchman, who started his career at RKC Waalwijk, is 5ft 9in but his reputation for fierce tackling earned him the unfortunate nickname "Khalid the Cannibal".
He will go straight into Chelsea's squad tonight.
Jose Mourinho is short of defenders because Geremi and Robert Huth are injured while William Gallas has been frozen out since returning late for pre-season and talking publicly about his desire to leave Stamford Bridge.
I'm pretty confident about tonight for some reason. With our defence we can't afford to be defensive, so hopefully he'll go for it and not be cagey. An early goal like last time will be crucial.
Prob team I guess:
Schwarz
Parnaby
Riggott
Pogatetz
Taylor/Bates/Davies
Boateng
Rocky
Downing
Morrison
Yak
Viduka
