Silly money for Huth. Hasnt proven anything at chelsea. A huge gamble. that oneywu looked abit dodgy also but that might just be because USA were **** at the WC...
We need midfielders once again. No doubt we prob wont get any
Mon Boro
I've seen Onyewu play last season when Standard de Liege visited my home team, and he's hugely talented and impressive. strenght, ability, good awareness. he only lacks a tad in pace, but he makes up for that in positioning.
USA have a rubbish defence, so he couldn't have done well, ever.
good buy for £2m imo.

Watching the world cup games, and from what others have said he sounds like the perfect replacement for Ugo.
Strong in the air, physically strong, and not afraid of whacking someone. Lacks pace...sounds like a mirror image but younger and no doubt wage wise a hell of a lot cheaper

When are the new football threads going to be added to the header? I had to take such a long winded way to get here
Hope the Malbranque rumours are true, he would be an excellent signing on the right. If not, how about Ribery from France? They said last night he could be on his way to England, although maybe he'd be off to a bigger club than us.
Doesn't sound like Southgate is too impressed with Goochy as we haven't progressed with that.
And don't sell Viduka ffs

I hope we don't sell Viduka, he was essential for us last season. I'd even give Jimmy another year. He may be 35 but he still knows where the goal is and is useful.
