They could Stu, bu even though it's dropped CBS will retain the rights to the show for DVD sales, repeats and such. Offer to buy the rights off them, and watch them ask for a huge bucket o' money.

I really can't believe that CBS allowed it to finish on such a cliffhanger when they were going to cancel it anyway. The comments by Kahl seem to suggest that the decision was made a while ago. Surely could have tacked on 2/3 minutes with the Troops stepping in to stop the battle.
Really hope CBS's new shows finish 5th in their time slot this Fall.

There were plenty of answers tbf. The only main ones left open are does Jericho survive (I'll say yes), and what happens to Hawkins (either the people of Jericho hide him, or he goes on the run).
Still fecking stupid though.
