Just got up to speed. Two things holding my attention. Jake and Hawkins. Jake because there is something about Skeet Ullrich that makes me want to watch him, and Hawkins because of the info he knows and this group of "others" he seems to be linked to.
It has some plot holes, and some of the acting is a bit off, but on the whole I think it's pretty good. I enjoy slow burners on the whole (Lost as a prime example), and I think this, along with Heroes, might have some proper depth to it.
Need to cut out the Mayor's speeches though. Or kill him off. That would really screw the town up.

The Mayor should be toppled, ffs. Mutant cannibals will be arriving at any point and they don't even have a militia yet. Just sitting around at the bar drinking beer.
And ffs, any thought about rationing of energy and food.
Last episode was so poor almost lost interest in the series, but at leats want to found out about this Hawkins dude.

Just watched the fourth episode of this and it's almost completely lost my interest. I'm hanging on by a thread simply because i want to know who they're going to make responsible for the nukes. They're probably not gonna tell us that for a while though are they?
Jake ifs by the way. Just not a very good main character imo.

Not seen any episodes yet, hoping to watch the first four this weekend.
Should be noted by anyone waiting to watch them in the UK that both Hallmark and ITV2 are awful for continuity. Both have, in the past, been guilty of shoving on random episodes instead of following the series time-line.

And as the shop keeps restocking thanks to the dude with the train, I guess rationing will come later. Though it's already been mentioned people are hoarding.
Like the idea of mutant cannibals, though tbf I'd likely do what they are doing int ehs show, and just head to the pub and get plastered.

But the all around stupidity from the town is just frustrating.
The idiot shopkeeper who is so obsessed with keeping the store running, as if the dollar would be worth anything more than wiping your ass on. Likewise the dumbass gas station attendant.
And hey kid. You find railroad cars full of supplies. Might want to tell somebody?
And of course rave girl, throwing parties after her parents died.
