Lackluster ratings have prompted concern, as the show hit a new low in early April. However, rumors continue to circulate about the show being renewed for a second year and moved to a new night in the fall. While the producers seem confident of a second season, no official announcement has been made by CBS, and none is expected until the network's fall lineup is announced in mid-May.
Just proves to me that the Americans are bloody useless. It's ratings have fallen since April? But these have been the best bloody episodes!
Excellent episode this week. Dale's continual survival is a blight, but can be shouldered with the hope the New Burn folks will drop a few mortars on him at some point. Grey quickly becoming another character who's only real purpose now is to die.
Just to beat the donkey to death, it's nice to see that the writers are making even less sense now in regards to the land and food scenario. Jericho has at least ten farms (the seven Constantino wanted, plus the two Grey offered him, plus Stanley's) yet cannot feed it's population. So New Burn, a bigger population, demands seven? How is that going to help them in any great way?

Grey there just to make Johnston look really, nothing else. Though I do sorta like him actually.
Made a bet with myself that you'd will bring up the whole 'there should be enough food' issue while watching that episode LycanGav 7 farms better than 0 basically, no?

This show keeps getting better and better. If CBS cancel this it will be a travesty. If the shows producers end it it will be a shock.
Hawkins and Jake to walk into the New Bern camp with the nuke on display. Basically saying you may have more men and more weapons but we've got this lovely thing here.

New Bern has more citizens than Jericho, that's a fact, it's been confirmed in the past few weeks. Jericho confirmed that with all their farms they didn't have enough food to go around their citizens. Yet New Bern will take seven? If a minimum of ten won't keep the folks of Jericho alive then seven will be of no use to New Bern. They would still all die of starvation/malnutrition, it would just take a little longer.
They thought they had Jericho by the short hairs, why not demand it all? Why settle for seven? It just seems so random, and contradictory to the claims of food shortages in the past few weeks.

I'm sure they also have their own supply of food. Maybe the 7 farms in addition to that is plenty for them?
