Why aren't Rosenborg as good as they used to be?
They have changed coaches a couple of times since the golden era with Nils Arne Eggen.
Åge Hareide took over, and they had their best season ever domestically, but he left to take over the national team.
Then Ola By Rise got the job, he won the league, but got sacked anyway, and Per Mathias Høgmo was his successor, but had to take time off because of some personal issues.
It's his assistant that is in charge now, Knut Tørum, and he's done a good job, they have been a bit inconsistent this year, but they have a really good team, with the likes of Marek Sapara and Steffen Iversen, who has not been in great shape and he's also had some injury problems.
They won it last year though, and will be our team in the CL, and you can't bet against them winning the league this year either as they have always been much better in the fall... </BLOCKQUOTE>
Thanks.

He's good, no doubt.
The problem is that he has what Norwegian media loves to call an on/off switch, he can be extremely good one match, like in a CL qualifier a couple of years back against Maccabi Haifa, were he dominated their defence with his step overs and amazing pace.
The next match he could be the worst player on the pitch, not running after the ball and just complaining.
He could be really good with the right guidance though
