Any facts on this or are you just spouting your own thoughts? </BLOCKQUOTE>
It's a known fact that CSA payments are higher due to all the absent fathers who cannot be tracked.
My stepdad had a job for 12 months last year that was cash in hand which he told the CSA about & they said he couldn't pay because they wouldn't know how much he was meant to be submitting each month. Fast forward 12 months & they now want 6 months of those 12 months he didn't pay over the next two months. this is because all outstanding debts have to be paid within 12 months or something.
He rings up & explains that he cannot afford those payments & gets told there is nothing they can do.
So for the next two months it's going to be rather **** in my house because the CSA take their money before everything else & after that it's first come first served.
Stepdad basically had a chat with his boss explaining he may have to quit his job as he cannot afford to work for him. Would be better off claiming benefits like his ex-wife (who hasn't worked a day in 16 years but has happily sponged off my family & the government) because at least that way we wouldn't be running at a loss each month.
As it is I am stumping up the shortfall to pay for my step brother & sisters who I have never seen & will likely never see.
So that's why the CSA are **** poor.
Rant over.
