I've just spend an hour staring at the screen hoping for inspiration to come. It hasn't. Just the realisation that this game almost certainly isn't for me.
| I fell out of love with it big time just before the gameworld was to be split into two. Mailed Duffy and asked to leave and still got mailed a week or so later telling me which of the new gameworlds I was in. I wanted to make sure someone could take the place that could make use of it.
Really going to be interesting to see whether this becomes a success after beta. Though I won't be subscribing. Just needs too much time to be spent on it on a regular basis imo.

Same as most MMO's. MMORPGS MMOFPS needs plenty of time invested as well.
Personally i prefer FML rather then FM08. In fact i have FM08 at home, but haven't even unwrapped it yet |

The interaction is good with other users, though it can be frustrating if you can't get hold of players you want. There was a lot of greed by many players and this had adverse effects on a lot of players. I think the fact that so soon after FML started, a huge gulf occurred between those with cash and those without that it put a lot of people off.
There was a lot of positives to it, but it did have a huge addiction factor early on and at least with FM08 you can chose when and how to play.
Although the theory behind FML is that you can play when you want I still found too many games having to be auto-resolved as despite joining the night-time league a lot of those weren't on at the designated times.
Add to that d1cks like Suhail and was it Boban? it became a hassle more than an enjoyment after a while.
Has anything been decided about cost? I would reckon that although you may be able to pay on a monthly basis, people will drop out left right and centre after a couple of months.
And I very rarely saw goals from corners from my team or the opposition, although I am seeing them on FMO8 and isn't the same match engine used?

Boban has been banned.
Suhail, has been very productive in finding exploits. Many of which have now been closed.
Cash gulf is no longer there since the restart. That's what beta is for to try to find these potential issues.
Goals from corners.. i see them often enough, yes the same ME is used.

Suhail is alright really. He always seems to want to find exploits, mainly to help SI as opposed to actually exploiting them to his own ends. Boban was different.
I think the cashflow system is now a lot better, i do like the fact it's now a case of a purchase fee whenever you buy any players, however, i do feel that maybe the money required to be able to get the top stars is a little bit too much right now.
It feels like it's gone too far in the wrong direction in terms of being able to get the best players, whereas before it was people hording them and it being ridiculously easy to get them, now it's ridiculously hard.

| I don't know, I'd say it's almost about right. I could afford to go out and snap up 1.5m worth of players - that'd get me one superstar or 2 or 3 very good players, and that's already with two top potential fellas in my team - Ramon and Lulinha.
The thing that is a problem, is that by the time someone has the money to buy Ronaldinho or Henry, they'll be too old to be worth it.
