Rubbish. I clocked up 12 steps attaching the thing to my belt. It counts what it wants.

I decided to test it by walking from the bedroom to the kitchen. I counted 12 steps the pedometer counted 18

Obviously because it cost nothing I've got no problem with putting it straight in the bucket, but you've got to wonder what Walkers are thinking about sending out these things.

it calculates it by movement, so if you shake it around it will think you are walking, hence why you clocked up 12 steps fixing it to yourself.
