After two back to back promotions i hope this year Salisbury can settle in the Blue Square Premier. It will be our toughest season without doubt as we have never played at this level before. 4th favourites to be relegated too
3 of our current squad have gone full time, we have two new signings on full time contracts as well.

of course a new season for Aylesbury couldnt start without a little bit of drama John Franklin has quit as manager with assistant Tony Thompson taking over. Wont explain the details but from the sounds of it a lot of backstabbing went on. We'll be playing at Chesham again this season and so far the talk from the manager has been positive.
"Aylesbury United have completed the re-signing of former Watford midfielder Sam Swonnell.
Swonnell, who can play either in the centre or on the left of midfield, had a short spell at the club at the start of last season cut short due to work commitments.
First Team coach Mark Eaton confirmed the signing and described Swonnell as an "exceptional signing".
He goes on: "To date virtually all of last year's squad have now re-signed. We have two or three new targets as well but overall are very happy with the way the squad is coming together"

Tony Thompson has made his first two signings as Aylesbury United manager with the capture of Dean Buss and Ross Taylor. Oh and new sponsors are New Era. Think they make caps or something.
P.S despite having none of the same players or staff as they did that day, I still hate Burscough
so bitter

We've got some good players for this season, Phil Gulliver, Jon Challinor our best signings this summer and with Simeon Jackson still here about to score 20+ goals we've a good chance of promotion this year to get back to where we should be in FL.
Also good luck to new club Scarborough Athletic this season.
