Difficult one. His attitude is top class - he'll work his arse off for the team. In terms of talent, I'm afraid he's rather limited. Really needs someone playing off him, as he spends most of his time holding it up as he hasn't got any pace. Also not at all convincing in front of goal. He'll do a decent enough job with a good partner but he's certainly found his level in the Conference.

At home to Altrincham today. Going to be a tough game for us after 4 straight losses

York are today's visitors.

Should be a good game, with a recent run of good form for us.

Predicted correctly that we'd lose. Both their goals were near identical but at opposite ends. Sliced apart by through balls and then a ball across the box for the same player to tap in. Hint of offside on the second but the minute the ball was played through I could tell they were going to finish the move off.

McAllister played well for the 80 mins he was on, held the ball up nicely and he was playing with Jackson who is a small and quick player who could take advantage of headers on in front of him. He also looked inventive, always looking for the wide players or to play one-two's with Jackson. I was surprised to see Rusk(world's worst footballer) play in the centre of midfield instead of Challinor, who played right back. Challinor looked reasonably solid in the first half but he wasn't put under any pressure. In the second he was put under pressure and buckled at times, not committing to challenges and ball watching instead of sticking to his man.

We kept Fleetwood reasonably quiet the whole game though he was looking for runs behind the defence and he did set up the first goal. Apart from that he was quiet and didn't seem like a 14 goal already man.

Have to question the commitment and passion for the side at the moment. There's only 3 or 4 players who you can feel are really giving 110%(Burgess, Hatswell, Kelly and Jackson).

Just not good enough.

Craig McAllister needs a quick, buzzing player around him who can take the pressure off him. Simeon Jackson certainly fits the bill.

Macca showed his best football when he had Stevenage's pacy forward and his best mate Jon Nurse playing alongside him on loan from August to October last year. Faded back to being the hardworking targetman after that.

Aylesbury 5-0 Willenhall Town
13Oct Willenhall Town

Aylesbury racked up a big win over Willenhall Town this afternoon at the Meadow.

A quiet first half ended with Ross Taylor heading the Ducks into the lead, before the home side ran riot after the break.

The visitors simply had no answer as Mealor and Swonnel scored fine goals, and then substitute Craig Henney added a fourth.

A convincing win was rounded off when debutant Phillip Nugent scored from close range late on, to leave Willenhall truly humbled.

Bishop Auckland 0-1 Ashington

Played last night. Man sent off in first half, yet we still caused them a lot of problems. They scored early in the second half, but we just couldn't break through. Points dropped imo - gutted.
