Not even close... that was the greatest mugging since United did Bayern in 99. Even allowing for our injury problems we stank tonight, and any neutral observer would have assumed you were the team that has been impressing in the Connie South in recent weeks. If you had a bit of end product you could have been out of sight in the opening hour, but you failed to translate control into a more meaningful stat. Regardless you were comfortably the better team in the 90 and even the most one eyed Bromley fan will have to admit we got out of jail tonight.
That said the biggest mistake you made was going ahead, especially so late in the game. That was a real wake up call for the lads and from the 85th minute through to the 120th we totally tore you to shreds.

I don't think I can make a meaningful comment on the penalty. I instinctively called for it, but it is a bit hard to be subjective in the last five minutes of a cup game when you've gone 2-1 down. I thought it was a clear penalty at the time, but desperation had set in

what about the attendance? given as 354
our fans seem to think it was a lot more and Bromley are trying to get away without sharing properly.

I can certainly sympathise re the crowd. That figure seems low, even allowing for the lack of absent season ticket holders inflating the numbers. It has been a couple of seasons since we had crowds in the mid-300 range, but from memory last night looked at least as busy as that, and those days were before the upstairs bar was built. It was certainly a lot sparser than previous games this season, but I'd have put it around the 400 mark as a fairly conservative guesstimate.
