ref went to pieces in the last half hour, and ruined what had been a decent game. he was giving out more cards than Capital One by the end.
Couldn't agree more. Busby should never have walked - the first was probably a yellow, but never the second. Good point though.

Allstar - which player? </BLOCKQUOTE>

Ben Laslett - tall blonde centre midfielder. I know a fair few of them, they are a massive team, Wardy just seems to sign tall players and stick them in the team, but it does seem fairly succesful.

Do you go on confguide Mart? All the Oxford fans are getting outraged about Salisbury's team of thugs, bless them...

Cambridge:1 Aldershot:1

We started well and took a deserved lead through goal machine Scott Rendell. We should've added to it really with Rendell missing a one-on-one, LFW hitting the bar and Pitt being denied by a fantastic save from Nikki Bull.

In the second half Aldershot were far superior and got a deserved equaliser near the end. A draw was probs a fair result, and they are about the best team we've played. Quite similar to Stevenage in style (quick passing etc) except that they have a more effective plan B which involves lumping lots of long balls into the box.

They also have Lewis Chalmers who can throw the ball further than anyone I've ever seen. Throw in's near half way were like corners ffs

Ha, really?? Jesus they are a strange bunch. I think they have failed to notice that we had to make two subs due to our players being injured by dodgy tackles.

Honestly - didn't really stand out for me, although from where I was we largely looked slightly more creative, while Ramsgate were well organised and complained a lot (that said, he wasn't one of those who seemed to be complaining!) so none of the Ramsgate guys stood out much above the others. Can definitely see why they're up where they are at the moment and delighted with a point from the game.

And our manager resigned last night after we got beat off a weakened Durham City 7-0 in the County Cup. We were at 'home' too.

We're at home to Jarrow Roofing Boldon CA today.
Our current coach will be taking charge of the match before our former manager (and Hartlepool legend) Brian Honour re-takes his seat in the dugout. He'll be assisted by Steve Howey. /o\

It'll be interesting to see who turns out today as, inevitably, a number of players leave when a manager resigns.
Brian is still popular on the terraces and he has some good contacts within the local game so it'll be interesting to see how the rest of the season pans out.

Home to Kidderminster today. Our home record is good so hopefully another 3pts today. Kidderminster haven't started the season well.

We're at home to Stafford today, 7 unbeaten, most have been draws so even though I should be expecting a win today I'm going for a draw. Home form is atrocious as well

No one except me fancied the 5 hour trip down to Torquay today, so will be going to City instead

I'm sure we'll be looking at our 11th straight defeat today
