| Got beat 4-2 and our defence was absolutely abysmal. That's probably being kind actually as that indicates there was a defence to be abysmal, when frankly there wasn't.
Got beat 4-1 in midweek off our biggest rivals in the league cup too. Another unacceptable performance. A few fans making their feelings known at full time yesterday.

Just as I feared City lost on Saturday against Horsham. But on a better note the much sought after Ricky Holmes has signed a new 2-year deal at Melbourne Park.
They did however bounce back last night by winning the A414 derby against local rivals Harlow Town last night winning 2-1, with Andy Duncan and Ricky Holmes scoring late on earning City the three points, City also had a clear penalty turned down when Kezie Ibe was tripped in the area.
Attendance was 979 which for a local derby wasn't particularly awe inspiring.
Also for the fan who rubbished Andy Duncan, he is reportedly having a very good season for City and even picked up the man of the match award last night.
City next face Hemel Hempstead on Saturday in the FA Cup, and they will fancy their chances after seeing Hemel getting beaten by Swindon Supermarine at home last Saturday.
City's next fixtures see them face an East Anglian derby against Bury Town in the Isthmian League Cup, followed by an away fixture against a fast improving Hastings United.
Up the City Wheel 'em in!

| Indeed, it was a totally needless sending off after you'd just got a penalty. But yeah, I was obviously delighted by the performance and result. I thought our tactics were absolutely spot on - not giving you lot space to pass us to death. No offence but what is Mitchell Cole doing playing at this level? I thought he looked fantastic when he came on. Aldershot tonight, another tough one for Jimmy Quinn's invincibles.
RE: Andy Duncan, I'm very surprised that he's doing well, but good on him I guess. His game is probably more suited to a lower level of football...

It was a great coup when we signed him last year. However only really in the last few games of last season and start of this has he really started to perform, but i have to say even if we get promoted it is unklikely that we will be able to keep him.
Away to Forest Green tonight, hopefully back to winning ways and maybe a return to the top but that is a little ambitious.
