All I can tell you is that he had 20 pace and 19 acceleration on this season's FM (For me anyway) and ended up being a quality Championship striker :thup:

Scored a couple of goals at the end of last season for Stockport iirc

I've done a bit of research and whilst at Stockport he was supposed to be going to Bremen on trial, but they cancelled it. Played for England at youth level too.

Stevenage Boroughs latest signing, winger Alistair John, was stabbed outside his house on Sunday evening. The 19 year old was taken to hospital where he underwent exploratory surgery and the Club understand tonight that he's comfortable and in no danger.

Chairman Phil Wallace said "We don't quite know the full details of what happened yet, only that Ally left his house to go outside and see a group of people, was stabbed and staggered back to his house. The reports we've had tonight are that he's in hospital but in no danger and that no organs have been damaged, so we're relieved to hear that above all else. This is such a traumatic thing to happen in a young mans life and God knows what his family went through last night.''

John joined Boro last month are being released by Charlton in the summer and has already settled into the squad.

Phil Wallace continued "We'll let people know how he is as soon as we hear that he's able to leave hospital. I'm sure he'll be keen to get back and see the lads but all he should think about now is getting better. Our best wishes go to him and his family and we wish him a speedy recovery."

Really shocking news. I really hope the guy gets well soon.

Salisbury 1 Stafford Rangers 0

Not a very entertaining game and we should of scored about 4 or 5 as Stafford are a very poor side. They didn’t trouble us once. Northwich at home on Saturday. Need another 3 pts from that game.

We beat Weymouth 2-1 away last night. From listening to it on the radio it seemed we had a better first half and they had more dominance in the 2nd. Two of our strikers scored which is pleasing with Jackson opening the scoring and Malcolm scoring the winner in the 82nd minute. This was either side of a Jefferson Louis overhead kick Before Malcolm scored the winner he had a shot cleared off the line and we also had a disputed goal disallowed after the keeper didn't have full control of the ball but the fussy referee gave a foul against us anyway. He also booked 9 players in total!

Anyway, another decent away win, 5 unbeaten now and hopefully we can start putting in some winning performances at home now.

Indeed, probably had his best game so far as well. Apparently last night he set up a couple so it seems he's getting up to his optimum fitness levels. Do you want him back yet?

We beat Alty 3-0 yesterday. Bring on Stevenage.

Nah we've got 3 scoring strikers at the moment. If he gets 25 this season we'll have him back
