Does anybody know the Conference record for clean sheets? Stevenage have now gone 7 games (at least 630 minutes) without conceding a goal - which in itself is a club record, must be getting close I'd of thought

Rushden 0-0 Burton

My first Rushden match for a few weeks and a much better performance at home than the last time I went. Burton really don't look like a playoff side as their current position suggests as they offered very little in the way of attacking threats bar 1 or 2 half chances. It was also a game we should've won 3 or 4-0 if we had taken chances(where have I heard all this before). Rankine had a chance from 5 yards out and glanced the ball wide when all he had to go was to get his forehead onto it and the ball was in the back of the net. We spurned a good 5 or 6 other chances and luck just didn't go our way. Lots of crosses or shots deflected.

Promising thing was the performance but we really need to make Nene Park back into the fortress it once was. Simon Rusk made his debut after joining on loan and was pretty poor tbh. Had a young lad signed from bitter rivals Kettering, Michael Malcolm playing up front. Nippy bugger who made some promising runs but we really do need an out and out No. 9 to put chances away(LFW anyone?).

Woking 2 Altrincham 0

Woo! Finally, a win at home after four consecutive draws. Alty were really, really awful though and we were only marginally better though did have our whole midfield taken apart with Gray, Quamina and Pattison all out injured. The return of The Hutch was key, as usual sensational at the back and a big threat from set plays including winning the header for the first goal which went in off their defender. Added another in the last minute. If Alty continue like that they will go down though.

Alty going down and fast. Offered hardly anything at all up front yesterday and we weren't great. Vital 3 points all the same.

It looks like Stevenage have now got the very nice syndrome of winning when not playing all that

Banbury 1-4 Aylesbury

FA Cup away against a team a league above, great result. Pro Boxer Nathan Graham bagged 3.

Bedlington Terriers 1 - 1 Bishop Auckland

Wasn't at the game but Terriers went one up early on when a cross found one of their forwards unmarked who sidefooted home.
We equalised with four minutes left when a free kick was despatched just inside the far post from the corner of the area.

I personally would've took a point if offered beforehand so I'm happy we did.

Aylesbury play Bromley at home in the next round of the FA Cup.

Not the best draw in the world

We beat Crawley 2-1. Would've been a lot more comfortable if we'd had a competant referee and not the lovely Amy Rayner with her unique take on the rules of football. Apparently contact isn't allowed now...

The game next Saturday against Stevenage should be good, I'm looking forward to Leo, ahem, taking on their defence. Given our recent form we should bring 1500ish again like we did two years ago, which will hopefully make for a decent atmosphere.
