Well that was awful

Droylsden 0-3 Stevenage

First half was pretty boring and there was another between the teams, then Lewis got sent off right on half time which I missed as I was getting a burger and that was probably the worst thing to happen to us

After the break Stevenage just sat back and waited to counter attack, all 3 goals came from them countering, we didn't threaten, about from Jody Banim hitting the post after a great dribble

Jody Banim is so frustrating, he can be as good as Gazza and as awful as Carlton Palmer, theres just no inbetween

Craig Dobson looked such a great little player, such a threat everytime he had the ball, deserved his goal

Our 5th draw of the season, after a first half in which we were torn apart and should've been out of sight. Second half we fell behind to a header from the w*nkstain Louis before Marvin Morgan rolled it back for Sole to hammer in our first genuine attack. Pretty end to end after that though the end was marred by Quamina being stretchered off, hopefully he'll be OK.

Ref was an abortion.

Seriously considering doing the away trip to Torquay and staying over, just stuck it in the Tom Tom and its 4:30 hours

City are at home to Newcastle though the same day, so undecided

Hope you got there. Good game to watch, specially what I saw of the first half. 1-0 up in the first minute (not a clue what happened since I was still in the turnstile letting people in at the time). Thought AFC Hornchurch shaded it till they equalised (unmarked player at the far post), then looked far the better side for a while, hitting the bar from 6 yards and shooting over from about 8. Best two chances of the game. Sorted it with a penalty and a great header from a corner. Probably just about had the better of the game ourselves from that point on - shaded the chances, and still looked the better side for my money even when down to 10 men.

More importantly... We are top of the league, say we are top of the league! :thup:

And to think Dobson is only playing because Mitchell Cole is injured :eek:

The lad has so much talent, just needs to maintain his focus and keep his attitude under control from time to time :thup:

Are you playing them on a saturday?? We were going to make a weekend of it but then the fixtures were released and it ended up on a Tuesday night
