I'm obviously ecstatic seeing as we've beaten two of the promotion favourites already. And if we beat Parsley Celtic tomorrow we'll be top of the league again, happy days.

he did great at unibond level and should really have signed for stockport last season. he's a friend of a friend. apparently wanted to sign for fcum but we don't tend to pay any fees to buy out contracts so we missed out.
Only seen him in the first game, was a pretty dire match with us being a man down after 5 minutes so can't really comment on him, he scored on Tuesday night against Northwich though

1 nil up at half time away to Aldershot and lost 3-1

Pearson played 29 games for us somehow, only scored 1 goal, such a rubbish player that for some reason we kept on playing for all that time, we just wouldn't get rid of him.

Im sure we tried to get rid, but we probably couldnt find anyone to take him off of our hands.

From Saturday:

Salisbury 4 Crawley 1

Another good performance and some great goals. A great start by us, hopefully it'll continue but we have some big clubs coming up.

Bishop Auckland 1 - 2 Chester-le-Street Town

Out of the FA Cup already. Knew this would happen - shade the first game and lose the replay.

We made £1,500 from the FA Cup last season and still made a loss of approx. £3,500 over the season. We'll need a good FA Vase run now to make up for it. Luckily the Vase draw has been kind, but knowing our luck. :/

I'm enjoying the look of the league table, it's a long time since we've been top of anything:

P GD PTS 1 Cambridge Utd 3 6 9 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Exeter 3 5 7 3 Torquay 3 5 7 4 Salisbury 3 4 7 5 Stevenage 3 3 6 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6 Forest Green 3 2 6 7 Ebbsfleet United 3 1 6 8 Oxford Utd 3 1 6 9 Aldershot 3 0 6 10 Grays Athletic 3 4 5 11 Woking 3 1 5 12 Burton Albion 3 0 4 13 Rushden & D'monds 3 0 4 14 Kidderminster 3 -3 3 15 Weymouth 3 -3 3 16 Crawley Town 3 -4 3 17 Farsley Celtic 3 -4 3 18 Halifax 3 -1 2 19 Histon 3 -1 2 20 Droylsden 3 -2 2 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21 York 3 -2 1 22 Northwich 3 -3 1 23 Altrincham 3 -5 1 24 Stafford Rangers 3 -4 0

If Leo keeps up his current goalscoring form he will be my new hero

Hendon 2 Leyton 1

Scrappy game overall. We played the better football and looked the better side for the first ten and last half hour, but in between the game was poor. After Leyton went 1-0 up we didn't look like scoring (until we actually did), but from that point onwards there was only one winner in the game. Already doubled our points total in early November after two games, which is relatively pleasing!
