Lost 1-0 to Ebbsfleet United yesterday. Absolutely dismal performance, felt like we'd gone back in time to our relegation season from League 2 or pre Christmas last season. For possible promotion challengers we were woeful, and this was against an Ebbsfleet side who had 7 first teamers out(who all came into the bar pre-game, chatting to some of our fans etc). God knows what we will be like when we face promotion chasing sides like we're supposed to be.

Anyone seen Torquay yet this season? I was impressed with the players they brought in in preseason, and was very tempted to stick a tenner on them (at 7/1...) to win the league. I didn't - the last time I bet on a team to get promoted, it was Cambridge - who promptly got relegated.

well our 100% start remains, alfreton were apparently awful and don't beligh their position. telford at home on saturday, newly promoted but a big test.

Whitstable drew their first ever Ryman league game 2-2 with Eastbourne Town tahnks to a very late equalizer from Sam Denly.

I have a feeling Dover are going to p1ss our league.

i see danny Kedwell scored a 35 minute hat trick for Grays on saturday.

15 months ago I marked him out the game so much so that he kicked me when I went to shake his hand. i'm noe retired and he's starring at conference level.

he did great at unibond level and should really have signed for stockport last season. he's a friend of a friend. apparently wanted to sign for fcum but we don't tend to pay any fees to buy out contracts so we missed out.
