Sounds like how we used to play when we were worse than we are now(RE. 2 seasons ago)

Tbh, i didnt but over the years i have noticed that kicking seems to be the weakest part of his game especially of the deck and he seems to struggle to reach the half-way line.

Martin and Lewis looked really sharp tonight especially Martin however i just wish that them two and Miller would have more shots as we didnt have many but alot of our chances came through headers.

Northwich 3-3 Droylsden
Northwich surrended a two-goal lead but still came back to claim a thrilling draw against Droylsden.
The Vics were 2-0 ahead in the 18th minute after Paul Tait fired home from 12 yards and Chris Williams netted with a superb 25-yard free-kick.

But Droylsden roared back in style and drew level when Colin Cryan headed home and Chris Denham struck from range.

Jamie McGuire then edged the visitors ahead with a driller, but Michael Welch snatched a point with a long-range lob.
Sounds like I missed out on a cracker

Redditch 3 Tamworth 1

Got off the mark in a comfortable home win. Tamworth were absolutly woefull tbh, one of the worst performances I have seen. Hard to judge us bearing in mind how bad Tamworth were but were solid at the back and Exodus was brilliant as ever and got the opening goal.

It is going to be a long season for Tamworth and a reality check for the section of there fans who seemed to believe they were going to walk the league, shocking how quickly the fans turned on the team as well tbh.

Salisbury 2 Ebbsfleet 1

Chalked up our first win last night. We looked like a different team compared to Saturday. We played some really good football which is promising. Went 1 nil down early on to a penalty but from then on we always looked a threat. 1300 turned up last night to make for a good atmosphere.

Crawley on Saturday.

Played two, won two. Its been a pleasing start but i can't see us maintaining this form for long. Alfreton away next.

Ducks On TV on Friday
15Aug
Aylesbury United will feature on BBC South this Friday at 6.30pm as publicity for our 'Bring the Ducks Home' campaign gathers pace.

The BBC have been following the campaign and the club's activities closely over the last few weeks and the report will outline these.

Additionally, Mix 96 will begin in depth Aylesbury United coverage from Friday, whilst the Bucks Herald are continuing their excellent work to promote the club.

Bishop Auckland 2 - 5 Newcastle Benfield.

We are two teams in one - canny going forward, but absolutely abysmal at the back.

The one thing in our favour is that the two teams we've played are two likely title contenders, so when we come up against the league's lesser lights we may not get punished for our mistakes.

Chester-le-Street Town 1-1 Bishop Auckland

Well, we're still in the Cup! Fell behind to an early, dubious penalty, but managed to equalise before half time.
From the match report I gather that we just shaded it, but hopefully we can cement our place in the next round in the replay on Tuesday.
