Just for anyone who may give a damn (looking at you, Macca), Guildford City got their season off to a good start with a 5-0 win over Egham yesterday. Worth noting they are a seriously rebuilt side and are throwing a few good bucks around for players.

Sadly, my only association with Guildford City has been playing their youths in tournaments. Do they play at the Spectrum?

Yep, at the Speccy. A work colleague of mine plays for them this season, having signed from Bisley. I suspect they will win the league this season; their squad seems incredibly strong for the level they are playing at.

Cambridge are a damned disgrace of a team. Bunch of thugs masquerading as footballers.
Don't get me wrong, York were pretty poor and didn't deserve to win, but the ref let them get away with murder. And yet, ironically, we got a man sent off (rightly so, he deserved to go, but it shouldn't have been a pen as Fortune-West commited a foul onj Elliott which led to his retaliation).
