saw burscough vs accy last night, burscough won 1-0.

have to admit i've now seen rochdale, accy, macclesfield and morecambe and now i know its only pre-season but they all seemed gash and i'd expect them near the bottom of league 2 this season.

as for us mid-table is predictable despite being 3rd favourites.

Onome Sodje is the perfect replacement for CD, and we have much better options up front this year. More range in the players.

The pitch was an aberation last year. It used to be one of the best in whatever league we happened to be in. It's been sorted (I hope) this year.


As for Stevenage, I seem to have heard every year that they are going to be a force to be reckoned with. Never happens.

Only thing that's worried me this pre-season is the comparative lack of goals for Morison - hopefully he'll rectify it on Saturday!

Thatcham had already beaten Woodford United 1-0 and they are in the same league as us so to go and beat them 5-1 shows we are doing alright despite losing Gutzmore and Pringle, that means we've now scored 15 goals in 4 pre season games, definitley a promising pre season.
