Our ground isn't very good
Our away support is pretty good although obviously last season the games were a lot closer to home.

I think it will be a good test as we are both newcomers this league

Welcome to the world of non-league.
Ours only came out on Saturday because of supplier and sponsorship issues

Yeah we couldn't have asked for a better start tbh, home against a fellow newly promoted club

Is Sailsbury still a part time club?

We have 8 full time players now. Looking at the pre-season games going full time has been a great benefit to them. Look much fitter/sharper.

Thats why I think we'll go straight back down, Pacey has decided to stay part time and the players he's brought in from Stafford and Scarborough aren't going to keep us up

I wanted mine asap so when I go to play footy in it I'd get a few stragers (and friends tbf) giving me the '****'s that?' look.

Ideally there would have been more. We have some ex pros who declined to go pro again which is understandable considering their ages/circumstances.
Any new player we have signed/will sign will be taken on a pro contract. It's great progress for us.

We seem to be easing past all of our lower league pre season opponents so far and if Craig Henney can continue his form into the new season then we shouldn't worry too much about Pringle and Gutzmore chasing the money at Barton.

followed up our 5-1 win at Buckingham with a 4-0 win at Northampton Spencer, Henney bagging a brace and a hat trick in these cames

Unfortunatley we picked up 3 injuries in the Northampton match and apparently Matt Butler could be out all season

I think we should be looking at a top half finish and maybe pushing for a playoff place again this season. If we can keep progressing on a small budget on the pitch hopefuly TheBring The Ducks Home campaign can help force the council into helping us find a home in Aylesbury.

We lost 2-1 to Farnborough on Saturday, with our first team outplayed by a team 3 levels below us. I couldn't be more optimistic.
