Come on you U's ! Hoping for a top half finish for Cambridge this season and hopefully I'll be able to make it over for a match or two during this season again.
I'm hoping Lee Boylan keeps up the same pace in real life as he has done in my test games of FM2008 |

Took me nephew to his first football match yesterday. Couldn't afford to go to the Sunderland-Juve friendly so we (or more rather I) took in Darlo RA v Bishop Auckland.
Not surprisingly, Luke, aged 4, didn't pay much attention to the footy but it was a cracking match which Bishop won 5-4 with an absolute scud-missile-esque of a winner in the last minute. So good in fact, I was cheering before the ball got near the goal - you could just tell the 'keeper was not going to keep it out. I was directly behind it also, so if the net wasn't there I would've been knocked out - or ended up in the changing rooms behind me such was the power.

Blyth wrapped up their pre-season program yesterday with a 4-2 win at Stokesley. One or two new faces in the side apparently, though I'll have to find out for definite at next weeks first game v Alfreton.

looking to follow more non league stuff this year, best friend a follower of AFC Stamford, saw them against Rothwell Town in a pre-season and they were garbage. Re-aligned into the Unibond from the Southern Premier after all the changes which isn't great news for the team - and they lost the Lincolnshire Shield cup this year - going out in the 1st round AKA the semi finals to Lincoldn Town ( ffs what is the point ).
Worcester City got plenty of injuries atm so not expecting a bright start to their season either.

500+ most games, the crowds kept getting bigger towards the end of the season so hopefully it'll continue into this one
Our ground isn't very good
