Meh, a good old FA tribunal has decided Coventry should pay us 40k for our top scorer from last season, Robbie Simpson.

Although I don't think the fee is too too bad (could rise to 130k depending on appearances) the fact we've only got a 5 per cent sell on clause is scandalous, I've never heard of a clause for such a small amount before. As usual it seems the FA are looking after the bigger clubs and not worrying about the rest, grrr.

Bishop Auckland now face their 8th consecutive season of homelessness. I really must ask why we haven't had a similar campaign running, just beggars belief really.

I did ask one of the directors, who I speak to fairly often, if we should start a petition. His reaction was that the county council (Durham) may take offence and tell us to foxtrot oscar. He may have had a point really but I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of the town thought the team were no more rather than playing games at neighbours Spennymoor and Shildon.

Went to see Durham v Darlington last night. Darlo were a shambles in the first half and were rightly 2-0 at HT. Both Durham goals being good finishes although one was an unchallenged header.
Darlo came out with a bit more purpose in the second half and were soon level, only for Durham to score again shortly after.

I had to leave soon after but I've since found out that it finished 3-3.
