Not exactly an 'assault' as the description says is it
The Mendes thing, you're not thinking it was him who elbowed him are you? The one i'm referring to is where he went down the back of his leg
I'm not his biggest fan btw and theres loads of reasons for people hating him, I watch Jamie Tandy play most weeks and think want a knob he is for doing that to him. I'm not having that he goes out and tries to injury people though

when you said the mendes thing, i just thought it was Barton who elbowed him in the face, then rememberd that was thatcher, the mendes thing you are talking about is the achilles one.

No I'm not, the one where he basically stamped on his achilles, almost gurenteeing an injury, without even considering the ball. Which is just what you're defending.
I can't find a video of it online anywhere, so my memory may have exaggerated it, but I can remember thinking what a dispicible cnut he was at the time.
Basically stamped on such utter bullshit Didn't even break stride as he was running behind him. I remember talking about it at the time because everyone was so convinced it was deliberate and I didn't think you could tell because there was no difference in his movement from just running normally. Of course it could be calculated and I admit that freely, but stamping on his achilles, do you work for The Star?
What is interesting is that firefox spell checker doesn't recognise achilles without an upper case A. It also doesn't recognise firefox.
i respect his willingness to talk about things (assuming he's not just spouting lies). he comes across pretty well, and much of what he says is right. doesn't mean he's actually very likeable though, and he clearly has anger management issues.
You forget to mention that the ball initially is nowhere even remotely in reach of Barton, and he goes down Mendes' ankle a long time after he's passed the ball away. Clear to anyone with working eyes tbh.
