the little I saw gabby was going on and on about his brother. he's right about that, what does he have to answer for? do the press want to tar ricky hatton with that same brush seeing as they're best mates?

lads, we've all spoken to people who don't know an awful lot about things before, who would say that joey barton is a racist, despite no racist action or opinions voiced, they'd say that he's essentially a murderer, or use his half brother's actions against him. the fact is, without using the word passion at all, he's an honest footballer who's vaguely literate and capable of making decent points in the media whilst being basically good enough to play for england, which is all too rare. clearly no hitler
