Don't recall there being a Charlton thread so will ask here.

Going to the Charlton vs QPR game at the end of the month with my Addicks supporting mate, for my sins. Deal is we sit in the respective home end for each game. I've been lumbered with getting tickets and I forgot to ask him where the best place to sit is. So can you give any suggestions?

Depends really, I like sitting in the upper west as you get a good view of the whole pitch, but for cup games when its closed I've sat in the lower west and its a lot closer up.

Haven't sat in the east stand for years, never been in the north stand.

Listen live: Match commentary from the KC Stadium can be heard on BBC Radio Kent 774 MW, BBC LONDON DAB and Sky channel 0152.
In case no one noticed that on the OS.

Don't sit in the North stand, where all the noise comes from with the drums etc, especially if you're an away fan.

I sit on the Halfway line in the East, great view. Would definitely recommend sitting in Blocks D/E/F. Found that you can only get them tickets if you phone the box office and ask for them blocks so try that.
Here only offers the end blocks

Whatever you do not get tickets in the West, dead as anything in that stand.
Second comment from bigreddevil so not sure now

Yeah atmosphere isn't great in the west stand, depends whats important really.

That Sky channel doesn't exist for me

1-0 up, Varney, but Ashbee and Sam sent off. Ashbee grabbed Sam round the neck, doesn't say much about it.

You like the Upper West? Worst part of the ground, spent a season up there and it was like a ghost town.

East, halfway line Herman. Tell me where you sit so I can hurl abuse when we take the lead.

Apparently we scored with one of our only attacks of the game. SSN didn't tell me Sam went off. Guess it'll give Ambrose/JT another chance. Although wheres Racon

Its more about the view really, haven't sat in the east in years, can't really remember it.

Did think maybe it'll mean Ambrose/Thomas back, but wouldn't be surprised if Zheng moved out wide and Racon or Holland went into the middle. Or even Yassin at right midfield?

Finally another away win in the league.

I saw there was at least 8 mins added on time on the Sky Sports latest scores thing, didn't know it was that much though :o

Can't really imagine Sam punching a player, but a lot of players would react like that after being strangled. Shame as he's been playing quite well
