Slow. Didn't look at all up to pace. I get the impression he'll still score goals if he gets into the positions, would probably be better off used as a sub maybe.

Agree with that, Yassin should go on to be a very solid Premiership player, fast, defenders and attacks well, even has a bit of skill. Much better from Marcus like you said, looks like he wants to be our main striker, looks like he'll be given that chance.

I think we'll see even better from Reid, was unlucky when he hit the bar and probably should have scored that chance with his right foot.

Todorov was rated as our worst player on teletext with 4 out of 10, didn't do a lot but control looked decent I thought, and he put a good ball through to Marcus Bent. Would like to see him get in the box and have some shots.

Agree with your first post, but yeah he probably needs more matches and could be a useful sub.

Meant to be playing a strong team tonight, hopefully its a comfortable win. Would like to see Wright or Arter on the bench, doubt it though as Zheng, Racon and Faye weren't even in the 16 on Saturday.

Chris Dickson's gone on loan to Crewe for a month. They wanted him for 6 months, at least if he scores goals we'll have him back here in a month. Hopefully he does well for them and it helps improve his game a bit more.

If we want to compete in the Premiership we need more investment, so many clubs have a lot of money to spend now, can't see us being able to do well only spending £5m a season, occasionally £10-12m. Its got to be someone right for the club though.

Stoke tomorrow. We better win for my accumulator, but can't really see us winning, although it is a chance for us to show why we are favourites to win the league... 2-2 draw I reckon...

Best of luck, gents. Tight game tomorrow, no doubt about that. We'll struggle due to a lack of new faces, but we'll shut up shop for 90 minutes. No way Tony Pulis will let us lose first game of the season, on TV too.

How many do you think you'll bring?

Can't you just come out and attack us, leaving us space to counter attack?

Thats what my Dads mate reckon we'll find it easier away from home due to the emphasis on the home team to attack us.

Pards on the OS admits he doesn't know his first 11 yet. No idea who'll start when ZZ/Holland/Racon are all fit in our midfield.

Toddy is a doubt. Think Marcus will be partnered with McLeod.

Don't see why all the hate for Marcus right now amongst our fans. I not the biggest lover of the guy, but if he keeps putting in performances like he has done past 2 games I'll gladly have him in the team.

Agree about Bent, he's working hard and looks like he wants to keep his place, score and create goals and be one of our main players. Just hope he keeps it up, but with so much competition up front he needs to if he wants to stay in the team.
