Always been dodgy, his endless hoofing is incredibly frustrating, which is not in the Pardew way of playing.

I liked Elk, especially when him and Diawara got together.

El Karkouri also said he was bored of European football, so there wasn't really any choice.

As RedRob said his hoofing is very frustrating. He seems to think he has a great range of passing and good vision, as well as a powerful and accurate shot. His passes and shots will always come off occasionally as he tries them so often.

His pass to Bent against Man City was sublime though. But as you say, the amount of times he does it it's bound to pay off at some point.

Yeah he's had a few like that, think another was Aston Villa at home when he set up Bent who scored a diving header.

As good as those passes were it doesn't mean he's good at them. Kishishev has done the same in the past, every so often his passes came off and looked good.

You could make El Karkouri look like a great player if you put a video together of every good he does.

We've signed ben Sahar on loan until January. Everything ive read about him and seen on youtube makes this look liked a brilliant signing by Pards. Youth is definitely the order of the day.

Quite a good signing then. Need one more striker to replace Marcus Bent hopefully then we can solely concentrate on the midfield. Until January could suggest thats when Pard's is thinking about trying Dickson?

Prob only when Chelsea were prepared to let him go until. I imagine the African nations means losing Drogba, and if they have injuries he'll be needed as a squad player. A precaution on Chelseas behalf I expect.
