Well yeah.

Sankofa never going to be good enough to be a first choice, even in the championship.

At the same time we've been saying we won't let him go cheaply/below our valuation, surely if this happens we'll be getting a player or two in exchange?

It'd get to a point where you'll surely consider lowering it a bit. Not all clubs have the insanity of Egghead at the helm. I hope prices don't get pushed up that far really otherwise it's just going to be stupid. Gardner's the rumoured swap isn't he with Spurs? He will go, I don't think you can hide that regardless of what your chairman may think, there's two months for clubs to come up with the right bid probs c.12-4mil is about right, and I hope he does go to Spurs, increase villa's own chances of getting Defoe!

good luck next season though, hope you go up.

Good to see a few fools are interested in Rommedahl. Might get the price up a bit.

Yassin Moutaouakil, no idea how you pronounce it but he sounds

Is he right or left footed? Or both?...

You signed Moutouakil?

he was absolutely freaking immense in the Toulon Tournament, my Player of the Tournament by some way. Fantastic defender, great prospect, just shocked he's not gone to a bigger club at least in France.

Mou-too-ah-kil fwiw.

Haha

Sounds good Juni. Should be more than capable of performing at championship level then?

So -7 PA should be higher?

Sounds like a good signing. His CA is around 107 so he's a decent Championship player if its accurate, and he could have improved more since then.

As for Sankofa he'll be ok backup this season I tihnk, I remember Young really improving the more he played, wasn't good his first couple of seasons and Sankofa's hardly had any experience for his age.

And afterwards he told the official website why he had spurned advances from Spanish giants Barcelona, Lazio of Italian Serie A, France Ligue 1 runners-up Marseille and Scottish Premier League champions Celtic - as well as Premiership clubs Aston Villa and Everton.
Barcelona wanted him!?
