Disappointing doesn't really cover it.

Yeah, Pollit had an absolute blinder, but they hardly had anything to call an attack apart from their two goals.

King was very good, Johnno was pretty rubbish it has to be said and needs to be dropped when Taylor's back.

Thommo was pretty quiet and I'm not sure if I prefer Commo or No-Neck on the right wing.

We're extremely limited too - Rogers pings it down the line and lose it or we spread it right to L-J or Imps and lose it. Dawson was trying to pick out long passes too and, on too many occasions, he lost it.

There's no point hitting the ball up to Johnno cos he'll lose it.

Frankly, we're just not good enough. Sure, we've got the ability (when we want to use it) but much of the time we just look clueless.

I agree with most of that. I was looking forward to seeing Commons a bit more, but there wasn't much last night that suggested he should start, yesterday Impey wasn't even THAT bad.

Rotherham looked absolutely sh1te imo, but still we couldn't beat them. There doesn't seem to be a great deal of effort or teamwork neither which probably helps explain why a decent team are doing so badly.

Surely we will realise that the long ball to one of the smallest players in the division isnt as effective, especially when 75% of the time its lost within 3 seconds.

Its the same old thing, every time we got the ball in an attacking area, mainly down the wings, I just couldn't see anything happenin apart from the defender heading clear, or the keep gathering it.

King was probably our best player last night, and I wont be surprised if 2-4 players leave in January. I was watching SSN yesterday afternoon and Dawson was speaking saying how nice it is to be linked with so and so, just got the feeling that he is wanting a move away. But who can blame him the way we're playing at the moment

Seems we will be again a candidate for promotion next season....more than likely from league 1 though :thdn:

very ****ed off

JOE KINNEAR is expected to be relieved of his post at Nottingham Forest today — with Mick Harford lined up to take over as boss, writes VIC HOLLY.

Forest chairman Nigel Doughty has run out of patience with the former Wimbledon manager but is set to offer him the role of director of football.

Luton assistant boss Harford watched Kinnear’s side stumble to an embarrassing 2-2 draw with rock-bottom Rotherham on Wednesday night.

That left Forest with just two league wins this term — and third-bottom in the Championship table.

And after fans called for Doughty to quit, the chairman decided it was time for action.

Ironically, Kinnear wanted Harford as his assistant at Forest when he took over in February but was unable to secure his release from Luton.

But Doughty is now in a position to make it happen as Forest seek to haul themselves out of trouble.

Kinnear is on a 12- month rolling contract and Doughty wants him to remain in an advisory capacity to Harford.

Forest see the future in Harford

The Guardian

Nottingham Forest have opened negotiations with Luton Town to bring their first-team coach Mick Harford to the City Ground, initially to work alongside Joe Kinnear but with a view to becoming the manager on a permanent basis.

Kinnear is understood to have recommended Harford and will continue to operate as manager, but there were strong suggestions last night that he could eventually move to a new role as director of football. The former Wimbledon and Luton manager was credited with saving Forest from relegation when he succeeded Paul Hart in March but has come under intense pressure after a miserable start to the season.

Forest have won only two out of 17 matches and are languishing in the bottom three of the Championship, in danger of being dragged into the third tier of English football for the first time since 1951.

Also a couple of transfer rumours BUT PLEASE DON'T SHOOT ME IF THEY DON'T COME OFF.

The first one is Darryl Duffy (a striker) from Falkirk (who signed him from Rangers in June).

He has scored 15 goals in 19 games this season (but only once in the last eight games) and the fee is somewhere between £50&£100k

The second one is Adam Nowland who has just returned to West Ham after a spell on loan at Gillingham.

As I understand it Duffy could be signed in time for Wolves game but I only heard about Nowland today.

I am loathe to post transfer rumours anymore because they keep falling through :thdn: - I also don't know if the news re Kinnear & Harford will effect these deals in anyway

Don't worry - no strikers have been sold in the making of this transfer.
