Anybody got any ideas of the kind of players we are going to try and lure to the City Ground for next season?

*Scimeca back from Lesster
*Heffernan(Notts County) in exchange for Westcarr
*Kevin James who was released by Gillingham recently
*Impey is about 75% certain to stay
*Rogers is 50/50
*Gerrard is unlikely (I believe a few clubs are interested including Leeds)
*Williams & Jess :thdn: are being offered new contracts, although Williams agent is playing silly buggers. Jess on the other hand is 99% certain to be here next season
*Liam Lawrence at Mansfield has been looked at
*Matthew Spring(Luton)
A few out of contract premiership players are also being looked at (Martin Keown :o )
That's about it at the moment

We'll take 2-0 at West Brom - both pretty cracking goals as well.
14th place, only 13 points off the playoffs... next season with more of Joe's players, we've gotta be looking at the top six, at least - he's said so himself.
It's just a shame the season's over now we've got good.
Still, there should be plenty of transfer activity in the summer to keep this thread ticking over, and hopefully mean you can find it via Search - invariably, it doesn't show up. |

Williams has played very well recently.
As long as Danny Sonner isnt at the club next season we are moving in the right direction.

Well done today lads. Johnson's goal was a beauty. You played some great passing football although I don't think we should of lost. We missed a load of chances, mainly from set pieces tbh, and could have turned the game around.
Good luck next season though. Do you have to sell any players? I hope not, unless we can get Johnson or Reid at the Hawthorns |

I agree, I wasn;t a fan of Jess but this season he has played pretty well when he has come on. Im a fan of Williams, if only he got stuck in a bit more he would be quality

That's not his game though mate he's a passer, we have Evans who gets stuck in.
Williams and Evans are a great partnership, one does what the other won't/can't
Top six next year boys  Maybe even sneak in the top two depending on who we get in. Wolves will be the team to beat next season I reckon, other than them I think we have as good a chance as anyone (and better than most)

All depends on how much we get for Reid and what Kinnear does with the money.
He appears to have done well with limited resources so far, so i have faith in his ability to continue our good vein of form into next season.
I reckon everyone (big names) bar Reid will stay. Williams may go, with Scimeca likely to come in. It also appears as though Rogers and Impey will be here next season, and i would love to see Gerrard stay on as well, as he has looked very commanding in goal.
That leaves us needing a new left winger and maybe someone else to burst forward from the midfield as Williams has been doing recently if he goes.
After that, maybe some back-up and experience and the ingredients are there. They've been there this season and if it had not been for Hart performing below par in the first half of the season, which no-one could have predicted, things could have been different.
Bit of a wasted season, but in Kinnear we have our best manager in a long time and i'm confident about the near future at least.

Like I was saying to sebs earlier, I bet Joe could buy a whole Premiership-class team with £6m.
I'm still hoping the Reidmeister General stays, but if he can't, we could do a lot worse than nabbing McPhail back off Leeds for a couple of hundred thousand - they have to sell, and with any money from Reidy, we'd be able to buy.

Well i paid £100 this season for an u-21 one in the upper trent.
£80 i think it was for an u-18 ticket.
However, expect these prices to go up a lot next season, going by what Mark Arthur has said. To be fair, they are way too cheap at that, and Forest are going to need the money, so be prepared to pay double what i have just stated.
