I'd of thought some pace or experience, a left back or a right winger would be more important than bringing in yet another striker. In Johnson and King, there are already 2 top class strikers for this division, so i really hope for Hart and the club's sake, another striker is not just lumped into the team in some sort of strange belief it will make us win.

Can shove Van Nistelrooy upfront, but if he has not got the service, he won't score. (as many )

Paul Hart is still the manager of Nottingham Forest after an emergency meeting with the club's chairman Nigel Doughty yesterday, after which it was revealed he may also be given some funds to fight off relegation.
The summit had generated rumours that Hart might be sacked, after a run of three wins from the past 22 matches. But Doughty assured Hart he would remain in charge for Saturday's game against Reading at the City Ground and the manager later revealed he had called the meeting himself.

"We got together at my request because I wanted to talk about the long-term future of the club," said Hart. "I wanted to know what is going to happen in the summer and a few other things as well."

Hart also hopes that Doughty will provide money to help buy the club out of trouble at the wrong end of the First Division. The Forest manager has a list of targets for the summer, including Portsmouth's Kevin Harper and West Ham's David Connolly.

Forest were hoping they could survive this season and do all their business in the summer but their poor form suggests they may bring in fresh faces this month.

Who cares about the Cup? You're not exacly going to win it, are you? :p

Don't Forest usually get humiliated in Division 1?

The fans forum on the official forest site had been closed down because of the amount of abuse aimed at Forest officials :o:eek:

Don't know if that was aimed at anyone or whether you just wanted to know Sebs. Most home games i go back for, but this site puts up the audio for free to listen through the internet if you want it.

im seriously speechless at our recent run lately and i were about to let my emotions out on the now dead forums -it helped me a lot thru these past few hard months!

Also just on another topic.Did we get money (region of 5mil to spend according to sky sports news) or is it just money for loan deals as i seen on the forest website paul hart talking about been happy to be able to loan players in?

We have to get someone who can put the ball away, simple as.

Today, we would've absolutely mullered Reading if only we could score. I know it seems pretty basic, but we were creating a fair bit today - more so than usual.

Having my first choice midfield (Reid, Sonner, Williams and Gunnarsson) certainly helped, but still it wasn't great. It didn't help that Williams played at the base of the diamond, and Gunnarsson (a DMC)was further forward.

Wes Morgan did one of the greatest tackles EVER in the first half and looked comfortable with Walker alongside him, and apart from a couple of bursts of attack by Reading, Darren Ward really didn't have much to do.

I was in A Block instead of my usual Trent End and most of the time it was OK cos the people near me were being pretty jolly, but when some tÂ*wats in B Block started having a go at the chairman, which just proved what morons they are, seeing as though he's given practical backing to the manager.

Then the same idiots started having a go at Gareth Taylor and nearly started a riot. Everyone turned round to shout at them and a few stewards (:cool and police piled in to make sure nothing happened.

It didn't, but at the end it kicked off on the pitch in front of our block and God knows how many people piled forwards to get closer. I certainly wouldn't've liked to sit nearer the front and have people piling down on top of me.
