The car died 20 miles north of Sheffield.

We staggered home, got another car and went to watch the mighty Stags get a not-so-mighty 1-0 win against Kiddy.

Hopefully I won't have to go there next season.

Forest weren't bad at all but they didn't really have a shot on goal after Williams hit the post early on. Andy Reid was ofc ****ing brilliant and so was Des Walker. We deserved the win though and **** knows why Stephen Wright's goal was disallowed. I was right behind the line of the ball and he got a good flick on it.

Forest's fans were very loud though and to a man sang "Paul Hart's Red Army" even when you were 1-0 down with 15 minutes left. The "Shearer, Shearer" chants were amusingly stupid though.

The following was posted on the official Forest fans forum after today's defeat at Sunderland:

IMO it's time Hart went because......

*Our performances this season have not been good enough

*Our performances for the WHOLE of 2003 (especially March onwards) have not been good enough

*21st position is a disgrace and an embarrassment

*24 points off top spot is not good enough

*22 points off an automatic promotion place is not good enough

*15 points off a play off spot is not good enough

*4 points above the relegation zone is a disgrace

*Losing 12 games from 26 in the League is pathetic

*Losing more League games than we have won is not good enough

*Losing more home games already than we did for the WHOLE of last season

*Letting in 36 goals in 26 League games is not good enough

*4 clean sheets in 26 League games is not good enough

*11 clean sheets (including 2 against 2nd Division sides) in our last 53 games is awful

*Scored 3 goals in our last 8 games (including one in our last 5 games) is not good enough

*Conceding more goals than we have scored is not good enough

*Last win in the league was 2-1 at Bradford on the 25th October 2003 is pathetic and embarrassing

*No wins in our last 11 League games (7 defeats & 4 draws = includes losing our last 4 league games without scoring a goal) is awful

*3 wins from our last 22 games (20 League games) is awful

*Points average per game 1.07 is pathetic

*We have more points than only 3 teams (Direby, Bradford & Wimbledon) is a disgrace

Our record this season is shocking

Won = 7
Drawn = 7
Lost = 12

August

Won = 3
Lost = 2
Goals For = 8 (1.60)
Goals Against = 6 (1.20)

September

Drawn = 1
Lost = 1
Goals For = 8 (2.00)
Goals Against = 5 (1.25)
Points = 7 (1.75)

Monthly ranking 10th

October

Won = 2
Drawn = 2
Lost = 2
Goals For = 12 (2.00)
Goals Against = 7 (1.16)

November

Drawn = 2
Lost = 3
Goals For = 4 (0.80)
Goals Against = 11 (2.20)
Points = 2 (0.40)

Monthly ranking 24th = Nobody did worse than us this month

December

Drawn = 2
Lost = 3
Goals For = 2 (0.40)
Goals Against = 6 (1.20)
Points = 2 (0.40)

Monthly ranking 23rd = Only Derby did worse than us

*Our record for the WHOLE of 2003 was not good enough

Won = 16
Drawn = 18
Lost = 18

*Our record for the WHOLE of 2004 (No comment YET!)

Won = 1
Drawn = 0
Lost = 1

*Hart's record as Forest Manager is not good enough

Won = 42
Drawn = 43
Lost = 46

*Don't blame injuries/suspensions EVERY team gets injuries and suspensions

*Don't blame the age of the squad, most have played 50+ games and some have played 100+ games and YOU (PH) put the squad together. IF we haven't got enough old heads ITS YOUR FAULT

*Don't tell me the squad is too small ITS YOUR FAULT

*Don't tell me you haven't had money to spend:

Tarka = £100k
Beaumont & Gardner = £150k
Taylor = £500k
King = £950k

Total Spent = £1.7million (More than any team in the Nationwide League's with the exception of WBA)

Add to that you have been able to give new contracts to Des, MLJ, Dawson, Reid & DJ

Add to that you have been allowed to bring in Sonner, Gunnarsson, Stewart & McPhail (aswell as the five named above)

That means aswell as spending £1.7million you have also been given the money to fund 14 new contracts

I could go on about your tactics (or lack of them) etcetc but I'm sure you get the picture.

I think it is fair to say you have run out of BOTH time & excuses and imo Mr Hart it is time you did the decent thing and walked away

I don't think Hart would be right to leave. I want to wait until Johnson gets back first and see how we do then. He often shouts at his fellow players, and we need more leaders out on the pitch, so his presence may help in more than just scoring goals.

Plus if Hart does walk, there has to be someone lined up to come in that could do a job, and after viewing the Forest boards, not many people can agree on anyone it seems. The season is pointless for Forest as it is now, unless we go down of course. We should probably stay put in Division 1, get Johnson back, see how things do with a full team out, and then i'll see how i feel about Hart.

PAUL HART today faces crisis talks with Nottingham Forest chairman Nigel Doughty writes JANINE SELF.

The under-fire boss has been ordered to explain the First Division club’s dramatic slump.

Forest have won just three out of 22 matches and City Ground fans have turned against the boss.

Last season, Hart was hailed as a miracle worker for taking the team into the play-offs.

Now they lie fourth from bottom and Doughty wants answers.

Hart’s response is likely to point at the never- ending exodus of players and top marksman David Johnson’s broken leg.

PAUL HART has been given the go-ahead to make loan signings after talks with Nottingham Forest chairman Nigel Doughty yesterday.

Hart was called in to explain the First Division club’s miserly run of three wins in 22 games.

The Forest boss also wanted to find out whether he would be given cash for transfers.

But news of the meeting sparked speculation his job might be in the balance because of poor form.

While Hart was told results have to improve, Doughty also pledged to back his boss financially — although it may only be with loan deals.

Hart will now step up his search for a striker.
