Ok,I want to play a playmaker in my team.So simply,how do I set a player to a playmaker.

Go to:

Tactics > Instructions > Playmakers

Then choose your playmaker and put him in this box.

After that, go to:

Instructions > Team Instructions

and over there check the option which says "Use Playmaker". :thup:

Thanks for that and also how do I make the targetman 'run onto' the bal?

Set your target man first. Then go to the team instructions and you'll have an option there saying "Targetman Supply". Just choose "run onto ball" there and you're set.
