Shame about the old thread eh? Some great memories in there - Turners sacking/Sturrocks appointment, Kenwyne, and ofc, the playoff final. Good times, but its time to move on. :*)
I think its amazing that Coughlan is injured again. He played for Plymouth for several years and never missed more than a handful of matches, yet he's missed half of the games already for us. Good ol' Wednesday.
Oh and Reet has gone on trial for Bury with presumably a view to a loan, which will give him some much needed experience.

Brunt at 20/1 for scoring first/last. Might have to stick a couple quid on him again
13 posts already for a Wednesday thread? |

Sounds like a good'un
Stick all the live updates in here, we'll have it up to the amount of the old one in no time
Tonight will be hard no doubt about it, so whatever we get will be a bonus. Would be a real morale boost for the next few games if we kept our small unbeaten run going though

Really not going good with the other scores, beside Millwall and Crewe winning, so are Plymouth and Brighton. FFS.

Reading 2 Owls 0
So not another great result to follow Saturday, but I would have taken 2 points from these 2 games (and then I didnt expect that), so 3 points is good.
First half we more than matched Reading and should have taken the lead through Partridge, but instead of going 1-0 up Reading went straight down the other end and scored, with an OG for Whelan.
Second half was pretty much all them as they stretched the lead through Kitson, but Brunt still gave us one of his stingers than struck the post unluckily. Its very apparent that we havent got a killer forward up front - Agbonlahor sounded as if he played well, but Peacock was absent throughout.
Never mind, results changed in our favour with Millwall losing and Plymouths match being abandoned. Wolves got a leveller against Brighton, but Crewe did win.
2 winnable games coming up at home, against Derby and Cardiff. Need at least 4 points out of those I feel.

Lets all get excited people, Sturrock is confident we will be bringing someone in soon. I wont be holding my breath - no doubt the player will reject the £1.10 a week and we'll be stuck once again with Peacock for the next game. IF we do get someone in please God dont let it be some idiot like Platt or Paynter. Its all getting rather tedious now.
The reserves beat the Blunts 3-2 as well today with a goal from the returning Diallo. Graham sounded like he was complete guff again though.
